Art Art Art !
Adventures in Art is the first show of the Summer being held at The Art Hub Gallery at 127 Bridge St. Carleton Place.
It is a beautiful show full of many artistic creations from wall hangings to sculpture, and wearable art. Pictured on the poster is one of my mini lino cuts. This work is titled “Queen of the Night”, it is the Cassiopeia star constellation, representing a memory from a visit we took to western Canada.
Queen of the Night lino cut was created for the print exchange run by the Open Press Project, the art work framed and on show at the Art Hub Gallery is an Artist Proof and the only one currently available in Canada. Originally an edition of ten the Open Press Project will trade nine with other printmakers, and keep one for art show rotations that pop up all over the globe.
